Oromo (Kyrgyz: оромо, [u̯ʊromo]) or orama (Kazakh: орама, [orama]) is a variety of steamed dumpling, traditional in Central Asia, and in particular among the Kyrgyz and Kazakhs.
Its name comes from the nominalization of the verb "to roll", in reference to the way the dish is prepared.
