Krupuk kulit (Javanese: rambak; Minangkabau: karupuak jangek; literally: "skin chips") is a traditional Indonesian krupuk made from bovine skin. Traditionally, it is made from cow or water buffalo skin. The skin is cut into cubes and dried in the sun until it hardens and loses all its water. It is then fried in oil to make it crispy.
Krupuk kulit accompanies certain dishes. In Padang cuisine, it accompanies dishes such as nasi Padang or sate Padang. In Java, krupuk kulit is an essential ingredient in krechek, a dish of krupuk kulit in a spicy coconut milk stew.
