Koki is not only one of the main dishes of the Mbo of Moungo, but also of the Bazou and Bafang and of the Southwest, or even among the Maka, Bassa and Banen, West, all these zones constituting regions of Cameroon. Golden yellow in color, made from white beans (scientific name Vigna unguiculata) and palm oil, the latter is essential for the taste of the cake. Koki is traditionally consumed with plantain.
